The name of our latest offering is more than a simple play on alliteration. It reflects the exciting and engaging spirit of today’s Balmain—a house that continues to pay homage to its heritage and rely on the singular skills of a couture atelier, while infusing every runway with Olivier Rousteing’s desire to channel the way that his generation wishes to dress today.

This new collection looks to those runway offerings for inspiration, riffing on some of the Rousteing’s most familiar signatures, including thick fringes, quilted leathers, impressive embellishment, bold animal prints and those eye-catching black-and-white graphic patterns, which may be monochromatic but are far from monotone. To make the runway-accessory link even more explicit, the house’s famed atelier has worked closely with the teams of master Italian leather craftsmen, taking care to match BBuzz’s many color options with the same exact tones that Rousteing relied upon for his latest ready-to-wear and couture designs.

The strong lines of the BBuzz collection reflect the house’s renown tailoring, which is perhaps most often celebrated in Balmain’s iconic and transformative six-button blazer. In fact, that DB blazer’s familiar golden buttons, emblazoned with the distinctive Balmain coat-of-arms, are utilized in the collection’s adjustable straps.
